DELIVERY POLICY
DELIVERY POLICY
Effective Date: August 2, 2026
This Delivery Policy explains the procedures, requirements, and responsibilities associated with the delivery of shipping containers purchased or rented from USA Container Pros ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
By scheduling or accepting delivery, you agree to the terms of this Delivery Policy.
1. Delivery Service Area
USA Container Pros provides delivery within designated service areas. Delivery availability depends on:
-
Delivery address
-
Equipment availability
-
Driver scheduling
-
Road accessibility
-
Weather conditions
-
Additional transportation charges may apply for locations outside our standard service area.
2. Scheduling Delivery
Delivery dates are scheduled after:
-
Payment requirements have been satisfied;
-
Inventory has been confirmed; and
-
The delivery location has been approved.
-
Estimated delivery dates are provided as a convivence only and are not guaranteed.
3. Delivery Windows
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
-
Deliveries are scheduled during normal business hours.
-
Customers may receive an estimated delivery window rather than an exact arrival time.
-
Delays caused by traffic, weather, equipment issues, or previous deliveries may affect arrival times.
-
We appreciate your flexibility and will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of significant delays.
4. Customer Presence
Unless otherwise approved by USA Container Pros:
-
An adult (18 years or older) should be present during delivery.
-
The customer or authorized representative should be available to answer questions regarding placement.
-
If no representative is present, the Company may postpone delivery or place the container according to prior written instructions if it is safe to do so.
-
5. Delivery Site Requirements
The customer is responsible for providing a safe and accessible delivery location.
The delivery site should:
-
Be reasonably level.
-
Support the weight of the delivery vehicle and container.
-
Provide adequate turning space.
-
Allow sufficient room for unloading equipment.
-
Be free of obstacles that would interfere with delivery.
-
Be accessible by public or legally authorized private roads.
-
Failure to meet these requirements may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
6. Clearance Requirements
The customer must ensure adequate clearance for delivery equipment, including:
-
Overhead power lines
-
Tree limbs
-
Building overhangs
-
Fences
-
Gates
-
Utility poles
-
Parked vehicles
-
Other obstructions
-
As a general guideline, many tilt-bed delivery trucks require substantial overhead and maneuvering clearance. Exact requirements may vary depending on the equipment used.
7. Site Preparation
Before delivery, the customer is responsible for:
-
Removing debris and obstacles;
-
Mowing or clearing vegetation as needed;
-
Identifying underground utilities before any ground disturbance;
-
Preparing an appropriate foundation or support surface if desired;
-
Obtaining any required permits or approvals;
-
Confirming compliance with local zoning or HOA requirements.
-
USA Container Pros is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from inadequate site preparation.
8. Ground Conditions
The customer is responsible for ensuring that ground conditions are suitable for delivery equipment.
Examples of unsuitable conditions include:
-
Soft or saturated soil
-
Deep mud
-
Unstable gravel
-
Excessive slopes
-
Flooded areas
-
Snow or ice that creates unsafe conditions
-
If the driver determines that delivery cannot be completed safely, the delivery may be postponed or canceled until conditions improve.
9. Driver Authority
The delivery driver has the final authority regarding whether delivery can be completed safely.
If the driver determines that:
-
Property damage is likely,
-
Equipment could become stuck,
-
Utility lines create a hazard,
-
The delivery location is unsafe, or
-
Access is insufficient, the driver may refuse delivery or request an alternate placement location.
-
Safety decisions made by the driver are final at the time of delivery.
10. Placement of the Container
The Company will make reasonable efforts to place the container in the customer's requested location.
However, final placement depends on:
-
Site accessibility
-
Safety considerations
-
Equipment limitations
-
Ground conditions
-
Local obstacles
-
Once a container has been unloaded and the driver has departed, repositioning typically requires a separate service request and may incur additional charges.
11. Failed Deliveries
A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if:
-
The site is inaccessible;
-
The customer fails to prepare the property;
-
Required access is unavailable;
-
Unsafe conditions exist; or
-
The customer is unavailable when required.
-
In these situations, additional transportation, rescheduling, storage, or administrative charges may apply.
12. Delays Beyond Our Control
Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control, including:
-
Severe weather
-
Flooding
-
Road closures
-
Traffic accidents
-
Mechanical failures
-
Supply chain disruptions
-
Government restrictions
-
Natural disasters
-
Labor shortages
-
USA Container Pros is not liable for delays caused by such events.
13. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect the container promptly upon delivery.
Inspection should include:
-
Exterior condition
-
Roof
-
Doors
-
Door seals
-
Flooring
-
Interior
-
Locking hardware
-
Visible structural damage
-
If any concerns are identified, notify the driver before departure whenever reasonably possible and contact USA Container Pros as soon as practicable.
14. Delivery Acceptance
Delivery is considered complete when the container has been placed at the agreed delivery location and the customer (or authorized representative) has accepted delivery, or when delivery has been completed according to prior written instructions.
Minor cosmetic conditions consistent with the purchased container grade do not constitute a delivery defect.
15. Customer Property
While reasonable care is exercised during delivery, USA Container Pros is not responsible for damage resulting from:
-
Hidden underground utilities;
-
Unmarked irrigation systems;
-
Unstable ground;
-
Pre-existing property conditions; or
-
Site conditions outside the Company's control.
-
Customers should remove vehicles, equipment, and other personal property from the delivery area before the scheduled delivery.
16. Additional Delivery Charges
Additional charges may apply for services such as:
-
Rescheduled deliveries;
-
Return trips requested by the customer;
-
Extended waiting time caused by customer delays;
-
Specialized equipment required due to site conditions;
-
Long-distance deliveries outside the standard service area; or
-
Repositioning a container after the initial delivery.
-
Any applicable charges will be communicated when reasonably practicable.

Following delivery, the customer is responsible for:
-
Proper use of the container;
